After a great "Escape From The Studio" this past April 22, work is being done for Scarz Within's latest effort "Organized Chaos"  We have a few shows left on this mini escape tour. May 6th at Rodgers in Chesapeake, Va and June 18th Headlining at Geared Up Rocks in Va Beach. Welcome to the SCARZ WITHIN experience. For those new to the band, SCARZ WITHIN, a Hampton Roads band of Virginia. Formed in October of 1998, their style is a mix of melodic, progressive and power metal music fused with melodic vocals and layered guitar lines. The original lineup of Jerry Wright (lead vocals), Charlie Rock (Guitars and backing vocals), Rial Eargle (Guitars and backing vocals)Bob Warner (drums), and John Suski (bass) have forged a niche in this area developing a following of loyal fans, always putting 100% into every performance. The Lineup has undergone changes over the years. The early 2000-2007 SCARZ WITHIN had TW (Vocals), Matt Winchell (Vocals and Bass) Sterling Mckeand (Guitars and backing vocals), Walt Stanley (bass and backing vocals), Matt McCauly (Drums) Doc (Drums), Biscuit (Drums) and Craig Butlin (Guitars) .

SCARZ WITHIN current line up is Charlie Rock (Guitars and backing vocals), Walt Stanley (bass and backing vocals), Anita Ibanez (Vocals), Sean Goodwin (Drums) and Ronnie Mcdaries (Guitars and backing vocals). This lineup combines local, regional, and national exposure rivaled by very few bands. Their experience of playing in clubs and on tour is years plus of experience.

Anita Ibanez most recently forged her mark in the music world with the local band Bully. She brings a melodic vocal and beauty to the stage. Her lyrics captivate you with force, realization and lust. Her voice is a perfect match to Charlie Rock's harmonies. Her enthusiasm is unparalleled and an energizing force needed to make SCARZ WITHIN thrive.

Charlie Rock brings a style, attitude, and experience. A New York Native that brings a charge of life to the sight and sounds of SCARZ WITHIN His vocal Harmonies and aggressive guitar riffs is an important key to SCARZ WITHIN sound.

Walt Stanley brings a flare and energy to the lineup. Having spent years with Charlie Rock in SCARZ WITHIN 2000-Present, Walt brings the warmth, edge and extra harmony to the bands Vocals edge.

Sean Goodwin adds a good mix of metal drumming tied in with a more in the pocket feel. His Rhythmic timing and his ability to go outside the box is the back beat of SCARZ WITHIN.

Ronnie McDaries was the missing piece of SCARZ WITHIN. He is no stranger to the Hampton Roads Music Scene, coming from Top Bands that toured the east coast, Monument and Kid Pool, His song writing and stage performance is a perfect match to Charlie Rock. Ronnie also brings a 4th part vocal Harmony.

SCARZ WITHIN offers an experience, a musical journey through raw emotion, finally tuned direction, and a physically draining performance. This reputation has earned them the privilege of sharing the stage with such acts as Kamelot, Jackyl, Exodus, D.R.I., Nile, Paul DiAnno, Warbringer, Leaves Eyes, Doro Pesch, Jam Pain Society, and many others SCARZ WITHIN has been a part if the Dimebag Memorial/Toys for Tots for the last 4 years. Also Headlined the RYCHEQUEST in 2006 playing the whole CD of Operation Mindcrime in its entirety.

A SCARZ WITHIN show is one to deliver and satisfy every need and urge by all the fans attending, the companionship and brotherhood of these five Musicians provide the needed touch that promotes great music and spectacular performance.
